The Hindu mythology affirms that Krishna is one of the sons of Havirdhana and Havirdhani. Krishna is a descendant of Prithu. Krishna had five other brothers named Barhishat, Gaya, Shukla, Satya and Jitavrata. Prithu`s lineage then continued through Barhishat, who was an expert in theology and in yoga.
