Krishna is one of the later astrologers who came into prominence for their observations regarding the motion of the planets and the location of the sun and the moon which shall have deep impact on the astrological interpretations. While not much is known about him, the astrologer is mainly known for his thirty two volume work on Hindu astrology which has been frequently quoted by the later writers, earliest of them being Govinda Bhattatiri of Tarakkulam in 1237-95. This places Krisna during the period of 12th century. His collection is mainly known as Citanjitana which includes a popular commentary called Caturasundari by Vishnu.
Thus Krihsna was among those astrologers who attracted number of local people and mainly followed the lines of Varahamihira in making assessments regarding the position of the planets.
