Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science is a co-educational institute that is affiliated to Bharathiar University, Coimbatore. It is located in the midst of serenity encircled by chains of scenic mountains. The Kovai Kalaimagal Educational Trust supervises the college. It is an ISO 9001:2000 certified institute. Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science is approved by the UGC, under Sec. 2(f) and 12(B) of the UGC act, 1956, so that they can obtain financial help from the UGC, Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports etc.

Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science, Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu With the aim of imparting value education at higher level amongst students, Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science takes special initiative to enhance the overall personality of a student and nurtures their creativity, self-confidence, boldness, communicative skills and leadership qualities. Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science offers undergraduate courses in-- B.Sc. in Biochemistry, B.Sc. in Computer Science, B.Sc. in Mathematics, Bachelor of Computer Application (B.C.A.), B.Com. Computer Applications, B.Com., Bachelor of Business Management (B. B.M.).

One can obtain admission to several postgraduate courses also. These include-- M.Sc. in Computer Science, M.Com. in Computer Applications. M.Sc. in Software Systems is a five-years integrated course. Evening Courses include- P.G.D.C.A., P.G.D.B.A., Department of Computer Science, Department of Commerce, Department of Management, Department of Mathematics, Department of Biochemistry.

The Fine Arts Club of the college recognises the hidden talent of the students and also brings forth their potentialities. In addition to academic pursuits, students also are encouraged to nurture their artistic and creative endeavours. Students are boosted to display their skills in fine arts like dancing, music, debating, quiz etc. The club also gives sufficient value to emotional needs of the students.

Established on a high-rising block, the Kovai Kalaimagal College of Arts and Science library provides abundant reference materials and textbooks to its readers. It has a collection of over eight thousand volumes of books and sixty journals and magazines on varied disciplines. Students are allowed to access books under the Open-Access system. Besides texts and reference books, a large collection of self-development books in both languages like English and Tamil, and also dictionaries and guidebooks for various competitive examinations like GRE, GATE, TOEFL, CAT, MAT, GMAT, NET, SLET, RAILWAY, SSC and defense army books are available all time.

Every year the management contributes Rs.1.5 lakhs to Rs. 2 lakhs for the purchase of books. This year an additional 1025 books have been added to the library. In addition to that, 250 hardback volumes of journals, 600 project reports, 150 question books, 30 cassettes and 600 CDs are available at all times. The library is fully computerised. It remains open from 8 A.M. to 4 P.M. on all working days. The Alumni association of KKCAS was inaugurated on 5th Jan 2003. Its aim is to maintain frequent contacts with the old students.
