Kheoni Wildlife Sanctuary was established in the year 1955. This sanctuary is located in Dewas District of Madhya Pradesh. Kheoni Wildlife Sanctuary is rich in dry deciduous forest. Covered an area of 123 square kilometres, this sanctuary consists of teak and bamboo. Kheoni Wildlife Sanctuary is the home of rich variety of flora and fauna.
Kheoni Wildlife Sanctuary is the abode of the major animal species, which include chital, sambar, blue bull, four-horned antelope, wild boar and barking deer. The sanctuary is also rich in birdlife. The best time to visit the sanctuary is from April to June. Near Kheoni Wildlife Sanctuary, there is an old temple of Lord Shiva which is also the centre of attraction of this place. People from far off places and also from Kheoni come to see the ancient shrine of Lord Shiva and also have a bath in the `Bal-Ganga River` which flows in the forest village Kheoni.

The nearest airport is at Bhopal. Harda Railway Station is the nearest railhead. The sanctuary can be reached from the Dewas Bus Station.
