Kerala University of Fisheries and Ocean Studies have its headquarters in the premises of the College of Fisheries, Panangad, near Kochi. The College of Fisheries was established in the year 1979. The university is the first of its kind University in India that is dedicated to studies in fisheries and allied disciplines.
