It stands at an edge of the Chitrakoot Hills, which is a part of the Kaimur Range. The Keoti Falls is a type of segmented waterfall with a single drop.

Description of Keoti Falls
The main watercourse of the Keoti Falls is from the Bihad River, which is a tributary of the Tamsa or Tons River and comes down from the Rewa Plateau. The Keoti Falls are a classic example of a nick point, which is caused by rejuvenation. A knick or nick point is the break in the slopes of the waterfall that results in the vertical fall of water, creating a cascade.

The Keoti Falls is one of the popular waterfalls in Madhya Pradesh, which is now a tourist attraction.
