Affiliated to Bharathiar University, Karpagam Arts and Science College is an autonomous college that has received approval from UGC and AICTE, New Delhi. Established in September 1995, this institution had a beginning with 47 students and 10 staff members. At present Karpagam Arts and Science College has student strength of 3200 and also 154 teaching and non-teaching staffs. It is located in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu.

It has a huge collection of 865 CDs, facilitating on-line access for students. The Placement Cell successfully organizes training sessions like Resume Writing, Personality Development Sessions, Interview Skills, Mock Interviews, Group Discussions and Presentation Skills. All these training programmes groom the students to be fit for the corporate world.
