The beach can be conveniently reached through railways and airways. Thiruvananthapuram International Airport, 55 kilometres away, is the nearest airport while Varkala railway station, situated at a distance of 7 kilometres, serves as the nearest railway station. Buses and private cabs can be availed for accessing the beach.
