Kamban College of Arts and Science, Thiruvannamalai, Tamil NaduLocated at Mathur, Thiruvannamalai - 606 603, Tamil Nadu, Kamban college of Arts and Science, a premier college of the state was formed in 1996 by Saraswathi Ammal Educational Trust. The college is supervised and led by Thiru E.V. Velu, a visionary and also the Chairman. The College was established with the noble thought of empowering females of the underprivileged community in the light of higher education and knowledge of international standards. Down the years Kamban College of Arts and Science has been marked as a hub of academic excellence that imparts higher education in disciplines like Technology, Commerce, Arts and Science.

The college has an excellent infrastructure which is modern and advanced, rightly ensuring quality education of international standards amongst the students. A team of competent and qualified faculty members supplement the needs of maintaining such high standards of the college. The laboratories with modern technology and sophisticated infrastructure create a zeal of further research works.

The college library is an asset with its huge stock of books. It is also equipped with various audio visual aids. Hostel facilities are provided to the outstation students. Computer Laboratory with internet facilities, coaching classes, amusement club with indoor games, hostel with vegetarian and non-vegetarian meals, free-of-cost laundry services, compliment the stay in the hostel.

To sharpen up the overall capacity of an ordinary student, motivation is given to participate in sports. Events like dancing, Music, Photography, Meditation, Yoga also are induced. There is a special Department of Training and Placement that actually carries out interaction with famous organisations both in India and abroad, in order to arrange Campus Interviews, so that final year students can be positioned in a job successfully.

Several under Graduate Courses like B.Com , Bachelors in Computer Application, Bachelors in Science in subjects like- Micro Biology, Computer Science. One can also pursue Post Graduate Courses like M.Sc. in Computer Science
