This is a panchayat village located in the Indian state of Telagana, which is a newly formed state with Hyderabad as its capital for 10 years. Kamalapuram village is facilitated with Panchayat Office, ZPPS High School, banking systems and the police station. This village after the advent of the paper mill became the developing village with semi urban culture being adapted among the people of this hamlet.

Location of Kamalapuram
Kamalapuram is a panchayat in Warangal district in the Indian state of Telangana State. It is situated around 120 km from Warangal headquarters and comes under Mulugu constituency in Mangapet Mandal. Warangal is the famous city of historical origin as this was the capital city for the Kakatiya Dynasty.

Demography of Kamalapuram
Located at the banks of river Godavari, Kamalapuram has a majority of the population who were employees from BILT, which is formerly called as AP Rayons. The rest of the population depends on agriculture. Earlier it was an unknown village with very little population but once paper mill has been established in the year 1975 in the presence of Jalagam Vengala Rao former Chief Master of Andhra Pradesh. At that time, this was included in the Map of Andhra Pradesh. Now, this village is included in the map of Telangana. At that time most of the people of Andhra Pradesh were migrated to this place from different corners of the state for an employment. After some period the paper mill has been taken over by Mr. L.M.Thapar and merged into BILT group in the year 1979.

Economy of Kamalapuram
Kamalapuram is dependant on agriculture and paper industry. The entire project BILT group of has become private enterprise. There the huge development was started up from 1980`s like building a residential colony of 350 acres for the employees working in the organisation with all amenities like English medium High school, good sanitation, purified Godavari River water for drinking, dispensary, sports club and entertainment.

Kamalapuram has good transport facilities provided by the Government of Telangana to all the major cities like Warangal, Khammam, Hyderabad, Vijayawada, Guntur, Visakhapatnam the cities of Telangana and Andhra Pradesh. The nearest town is Manuguru (Bandarugudem), which is 56 kilometres from village of Kamalapuram.
