Early Life of Kader Khan
Kader Khan was born on 22nd October 1935 in Kabul, Afghanistan and is the son of Abdul Rehman and Iqbal Begum. He claims to be of Kakar tribe of the Pashtuns. At age one, his family immigrated to Mumbai and started living in the slums. He completed his graduation from Ismail Yusuf College, Mumbai University. He was a civil engineering professor at M. H. Saboo Siddik College of Engineering, Byculla. At an annual day function in college, Kader Khan took part in a play and it was highly praised by all. Dilip Kumar was so impressed that he signed him for his films.

Career of Kader Khan
Kader Khan"s acting career started with "Daag" in 1973 as a supporting role and "Khoon Pasina" in 1977 as the main role. So far he has done as many as 300 movies with a wide variety of roles. He tried every means and he was successful in almost all of them. His comedies are still in talk. His comedies were used to be the intelligent one with the presence of shayari and Urdu lines. He is most popularly recognized for working with comedian actor Govinda in comedy films by director David Dhawan. He has also worked side by side with other comedy legends like Shakti Kapoor and Asrani in over 100 films. He played different roles that of a supporting father, uncle, brother, relative, the main villain or the side villain, guest actor and comedian. His acting as a villain is also praiseworthy. He has acted in over 300 films in the Hindi and Urdu languages.

He recently appeared in films like "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi", "Family: Ties of Blood", "Deshdrohi" (2008), "Jahan Jaaeyega Hamen Paaeyega" (2007) and "Jigyaasa" (2006). He has also starred in his own comedy television series titled "Hasna Mat", which aired on Star Plus.

As a dialogue and script writer, Kader Khan has worked with many famous directors and actors, like Manmohan Desai, Prakash Mehra, etc. He wrote dialogues for 100 films. Kader Khan"s writing career began with the film "Jawani Deewani". He has also written dialogues for almost all Amitabh Bachchan films like "Laawaris", "Muqadar Ka Sikander", "Amar Akbar Anthony", "Sharabi", "Agneepath", "Naseeb" and many more. He wanted to lash out some of the anti-elements of the society.

Awards and Achievements of Kader Khan
Kader Khan was awarded many a times. The actor got Filmfare Best Dialogue Award for the movies "Meri Awaaz Suno" in 1982 and "Angaar" in 1993; and Filmfare Best Comedian Award for his film "Baap Numbri Beta Dus Numbri" in 1991. Recently, Kader Khan was recognized by the AFMI (American Federation of Muslims from India) for his achievement and service to the Muslim community in India. In 2013, he received Sahitya Shiromani Award for his work and contributions to Hindi Film industry and Cinema.

Personal Life of Kader Khan
Kader Khan was married to Azra Khan and has two sons Sarfaraaz and Shahnawaz Khan. Kader Khan died on 1st January 2019 and had been suffering from Supranuclear Palsy, a degenerative disease.
