Early Life of Joy Ferrao
Joy Ferrao was born on 30th April 1987. He is an Indian footballer who plays as a forward for Dempo Football Club in the I-League seasons.

Career of Joy Ferrao
Joy Ferrao was originally a youth player for Vasco S.C. and broke into the first-team in 2010 and became the top scorer for club and the whole league during the 2010 I-League 2nd Division. Joy Ferrao is accredited to be a very adaptable and flexible player of Dempo Sporting Club. He can play as a midfielder also. He is very strong in the air which is proven through the amount of goals he has scored through headers.

Joy Ferrao with Vasco Sporting Club
Joy Ferrao broke into the Vasco Sporting Club first team in time for the 2010 I-League 2nd Division. After the campaign, Vasco SC did not win promotion but Joy Ferrao became the top scorer of the league by scoring four goals throughout the campaign. The next season Jay Ferrao again became top scorer but only for his club Vasco SC and he became the top assist provider as well.

Joy Ferrao with Dempo Sporting Club
On 18th July 2011, Joy Ferrao signed for two-time I-League champions Dempo Sporting Club for the 2011-12 I-League seasons. Joy Ferrao made his Dempo SC debut during the first match of the 2011 Indian Federation Cup on 17th September 2011 against Pune FC and straight away he made his impact for the club by scoring in that game in the 87th minute. Dempo went on to lose the match in 1-2. Joy Ferrao then made his I-League debut on 2nd November 2011 against Mohun Bagan Athletic Club, coming on as an 82nd minute substitution for Joaquim Abranches as Dempo SC won the match by 5-0. Jay Ferrao then scored his first goal for the club on 22nd December 2011 against Sporting Clube de Goa in the I-League. That time Dempo SC won the match by 3-2.

Joy Ferrao then scored his second goal for the club on 19th January 2013 against United Sikkim F.C. at the Duler Stadium in which Dempo SC won 7-0 against the Snow Lions and Joy Ferrao scoring in the 84th minute.
