Jesus and Mary College, Chanakyapuri, New DelhiJesus and Mary College (JMC) was set up in 1968 and is supervised by the sisters of Jesus and Mary Congregation that has its origin in France. Located at Chanakyapuri, New Delhi it is a college for women focusing on overall growth and development of the students. A healthy ambience of education is provided so that they can grow capable both in professional and personal life. As per the recent curriculum there are more than two thousand and four hundred students in the college.

The college has an expansive campus reaching an area of fourteen acres. There is a huge block devoted to teaching that constitutes of separate tutorial rooms, games room, canteen, and laboratories. Jesus and Mary College also houses a large library with a collection of four thousand books and periodicals. Currently a `multi-purpose auditorium` is also under construction. Sports also has been given due evidence by the authorities of Jesus and Mary College. In fact it has individual sports ground for playing various games like hockey, football and cricket and also separate courts for volleyball and lawn tennis.

Jesus and Mary College facilitates its students by offering various undergraduate courses like B.A. (Hons) courses in subjects like English, History Economics, Hindi, Mathematics, Psychology, Political Science, and Sociology. B.A. (pass) courses along with a 4-year professional degree program called Bachelor of Elementary Education, which makes the students eligible to educate the elementary level (Grade I to Grade VIII). Not only that, women who cannot pursue a regular course can enroll themselves in the special courses that are offered by Jesus and Mary College. Sports quota is available for those who are proficient in games and sporting activities.
