Jaypee University of Information Technology , Solan, Himachal PradeshJaypee University of Information Technology was established in the year 2002 by the Government of Himachal Pradesh .It is located at Waknaghat in the Solan district of Himachal Pradesh.

The University has been recognised by the University Grant commission.The university offers B.Tech degree in Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, Bioinformatics Engineering, Information Technology, Civil Engineering and Biotechnology Engineering. Hostel for the students and Gymnasium are located inside the campus.The University provides excellent computer facility for the student. More than 600 IBM Desktops, A UNIX lab and Laser color and black & white printers arec provided for the student.The University has a automated Learning Resouce Center with latest books, journals and shophisticated laboratories for Physics , Civil Infrastructure, Electronics & Communication ,Bioinformatics.
