Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat was born on 18th October in the year 1991. He is hailing from Porbandar in Gujarat. He is an Indian cricketer, playing for Delhi Daredevils, and has also played the Under-19 Cricket World Cup.

Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat was born in Porbandar in Gujarat. Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat attended the St. Mary`s School in Porbandar and completed school in 2009.

Early Career of Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat
On his second day Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat played against the Rajasthan Royals in the Indian Premier League. Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat took three wickets and did some impressive fielding. His performance on this day brought him the man of the match trophy. He has played 3 matches for the Kolkata Knight Riders in the Indian Premier League. The consistent performance of Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat has helped him enter the Indian team. He was recently selected for the test against Australia. He is an aggressive bowler as well as a fielder. When Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat plays for Kolkata Knight Riders, Kolkata Knight Riders is coached by the cricketer of Pakistan, Wasim Akram who has described him as an exciting prospect for the future.

Later Career of Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat
Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat debuted for Indian Cricket team against South Africa on 16th December 2010 for the 1st Test at Centurion. He was brought in place of Zaheer Khan who sat out because of injury. He took no wickets in this match, and it would be his maiden Test match. From 2011 to present, Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat has failed to deliver any impressive performance, rendering him irregular in domestic matches. After his stint with Kolkata Knight Riders, he was picked up by the Royal Challengers Bengaluru. During IPL 6, his impressive string of performances earned him great praise from Royal Challengers Bangalore coach Ray Jennings, who said that Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat would make a big comeback into the Indian Team. On 10 May 2013, Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat achieved best career bowling figures of 5 for 25 in four overs in IPL playing against Delhi Daredevils. He was named Man of the Match for that Performance. On 12 February 2014, Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat was picked up by the Delhi Daredevils in the IPL-7 auction.

Jaydev Dipakbhai Unadkat took 8 wickets in the 5 match ODI series vs Zimbabwe Cricket team with best figures 4-41.
