Jampore Beach, DamanThe beaches in Daman are known for its smooth sands and tranquil waters. The Jampore beach is no different, with its shoreline flanked by swaying coconut palms. The beach is a stretch of clean shoreline with black sand. This sea beach is mainly marked with small tidal waves. Jampore beach is not very popular, yet this is one of the choicest places on the western coast of India which provides ample opportunity for the visitors to have some private and peaceful moments of leisure.

Jampore beach is relatively flatter, wider and cleaner than other beaches of Daman. It tends to get crowded in the evenings especially on weekends. The best time to visit this beach is in the morning. One can have an almost private beach to themselves at dawn. There are numerous food stalls lined along the beach offering quick, local snacks and drinks. Water sports like jet-skiing and parasailing are also prevalent here.

The Jampore beach in Daman has become an attractive tourist spot.
