Jaleswar has four major areas Bada Bazar, Nua Bazar, Station Bazar and Purunia Bazar. Jaleswar is near the West Bengal border. Most of the vegetable vendors from Kharagpur and other parts of West Bengal come to the Monday Market to purchase vegetables at wholesale prices.
