Jakrem is located in the South West Khasi Hills district in the state of Meghalaya and is popular for its hot springs of sulphur water which is believed to have curative medicinal properties. It is one of the upcoming tourist spots in Meghalaya because of its hot springs, where tourists can take a dip to ease their muscular pain or just relax in general.
