The teerth is situated on a hill near the forest located close to Hathkalangad. The Jagvallabh Parshwanath Temple, established in 1859, comprises of 7 sikhars. Opposite to this temple, Taleti Dharmashala is located and 9 feet long cobras can be seen there. It is said that this temple is protected by these cobras and seeing these cobras fulfil desires of people.
The history of this Kumbhojgiri teerth is also not known much but is considered as one of the ancient teerths as per the Svetambaras. This teerth is reckoned as the Setrunjaya of South Maharashtra.
