Located at a distance of 58 kms from Udaipur, this temple lies in the southeast direction. Because of its splendid architecture and fine sculptures this temple of Goddess Ambika-Durga is considered as the Khajuraho of Rajasthan. Jagat Temple is shaped in the pentagonal shape which is enclosed by massive rampant walls. It has 17 turrets and a pagoda type gabled roof.

Jagat Temple has a Sabha mandap and a sanctum which is decorated with the sculptures of Devi Durga in different forms. Several intricate curvatures and erotic sculptures decorate the exterior of the temple in such a manner which defines the architecture of the temple and its age. Filled with the structure of Apsaras and Sundaries this temple resembles with the architectural style of the Khajuraho temples. The inner architecture of the temple includes some exquisitely carved inner walls, ceilings and door frames of the temple which reflect the architectural proficiency of the temple and extraordinary craftsmanship of ancient India. Because of its exclusive architecture and grandeur this temple has been considered as one of the heritages of the state which is preserved by the State department of archaeology and museum.

Thus with some regular bus services from Kurawad this temple can be easily accessed from Udaipur. Marked by some exclusive architecture t attracts a large number of tourists from all over India.
