Shivasamudra is a small island town in the Mandya District of Karnataka. This island town is famous for the waterfalls in Shivasamudra.
Munroe Island
Munroe Island is located at the confluence of Ashtamudi Lake and the Kallada River. The island village is a tourism destination where one can see the coir retting process, coir weaving, fishing, prawns feeding, migratory bird watch, narrow canals and waterways, coconut farms on the lake shore, lagoons, mangrove plants and the beautiful tiny islands of Pathupara.

Lakshadweep is a group of islands over 200 to 440 kilometres off the south western coast of India. The archipelago is a Union Territory and is governed by the Union Government of India.
