Sarabhai Vs Sarabhai
One of the hugely popular comedy soaps on Indian Television, "Sarabhai vs Sarabhai" trace the life of an archetypal upper class family of Mumbai. The show was broadcast in 2004 on STAR One and received a unanimously positive response from critics and public alike, enjoyed one of the highest TRPs for an Indian television sitcom. The series garnered a cult following.

Hum Paanch
"Hum Paanch" was one of the most widely popular Indian television shows broadcasted during the mid 1990s. The sitcom first aired on Zee TV in the year 1995, produced by Balaji Telefilms. The second season was aired on Zee TV in 2005 and ended in 2006. "Hum Paanch" became popular amongst all age groups.

Dekh Bhai Dekh
"Dekh Bhai Dekh" was a Hindi sitcom which premiered on Doordarshan`s metro channel DD2 in May 1993. It was conceptualized, developed, edited and directed by Aanand Mahendroo and produced by Jaya Bachchan. "Chacha Chaudhary" was an Indian children`s television show based on the popular Indian comic character Chacha Chaudhary. It featured known Indian television actor Raghubir Yadav as Chacha Chaudhary. Produced by Ketan Mehta and aired in 2001 on Sahara TV, it gained instant universal popularity among all age groups.

Office Office
"Office Office" is a famed Hindi TV sitcom that premiered on SAB TV on September 3, 2001. The series featured veteran Bollywood actor Pankaj Kapoor in the role of Mussadilal, who is often harshly treated by corrupt officials. The show is based on rampant corruption and bribery seen in public offices.

Tu Tu Main Main
"Tu Tu Main Main" was another famed television comedy series that first aired on Doordarshan and later STAR Plus post 1996. Directed by Sachin Pilgaonkar, the show dealt with typical arguments and bickering between a mother-in-law and her daughter-in-law, played by Reema Lagoo and Supriya Pilgaonkar respectively.

Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah
"Taarak Mehta Ka Ooltah Chashmah" is another extremely successful television sitcom that went on-air on July 28, 2008 on SAB TV and still runs successfully amongst the audiences. Based on the column "Duniya Ne Oondha Chashma" by columnist-journalist Taarak Mehta for Gujarati weekly magazine "Chitralekha", the show was declared by Limca Book of Records as the longest running comedy show. It completed 2000 episodes on August 11, 2016.
