IIFA Awards or International Indian Film Academy Awards is a prestigious event of Hindi film industry in which the artistic and technical excellences of Bollywood professional are honoured by the International Indian Film Academy by presenting them various awards. The event was introduced in the year 2000 and has greatly contributed in promoting the Indian cinema at international level. Every year the award ceremony is held at various places of the globe. During this three day event awards are presented under different categories as recognitions to the skills of film personalities in varied cinematic arenas.

15th IIFA Awards
15th IIFA Award ceremony was organized from 23rd to 26th April 2014 for commemorating the best films of the year 2013. It took place at the Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida, in the United States and was co-anchored by Shahid Kapoor and Farhan Akhtar. Bollywood films of 2013 featured some of the remarkable actors who rendered brilliant performances, enriching the comical aspect of the films and making them more enjoyable. The nominations for 2014 IIFA Awards for Best Comedian included Arshad Warsi for Jolly LLB, Riteish Deshmukh for Grand Masti and Varun Sharma for Fukrey. In the event Arshad Warsi walked away with the award for his performance in the movie Jolly LLB.

Arshad Warsi
Arshad Warsi is one of the celebrated and versatile actors of Hindi film industry. He rose to fame by portraying the role of Circuit in the Munnabhai series. In the film Jolly LLB he essayed the role of Jagdish Tyagi (Jolly) and received critical appreciations for his performance. His comic performances in other films have also won him many other prestigious awards.
