Hussain Kuwajerwala, a BSc graduate, was born on October 12, 1977. He was brought up in Mumbai. His most prominent roles have been that of Sumit Wadhwa in the soap Kumkum (TV series) and Chirag Virani in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. He is one of the most established actors in the Indian television fraternity
He started modelling during his college days. During his commercials he got a chance to do a small role in Ashirwad serial in Zee TV. `Kanyadaan` was Hussain`s first serial with Balaji telefilms.
After winning in Nach Baliye-2, this young and talented actor, soon got a huge fan following. His wife Tina also cooperated with him during this competition. Hussain is also doing reality shows like, `Shabash India`,` Indian idol`, `Khul ja sim sim`,`Kisme kitna hai dum`,`Kuch kar dikhana hai`,`Kalakaarz`. In early 2010 he signed his first-ever Bollywood musical, Zangoora: The Gypsy Prince at Kingdom of Dreams, Gurgaon.
His other serials were `Kyunki`, `Kangan`,`Sarhadain`, and `Krishna Arjun`.
He has hosted for several shows:
Kisme Kitna Hai Dum, Kuch Kar Dikhana Hai, Khullja Sim Sim, Kaalakars, Shabaash India, Indian Idol 3, Nach Baliye 3, Indian Idol 4, Dance Premier League and Indian Idol 5.
Other than these he has also made special appearances: Parde Ke Peeche, Jodi Kamaal Ki, Jeena Isi Ka Naam Hai, Jo Jeeta Wohi Super Star, Kaho Na Yaar Hai, Saas v/s Bahu, Comedy Circus, Oye! It`s Friday, Danced and judged an episode of Boogie Woogie and as a celebrity Guest couple in Star Vivaah.
