Some surprises are interesting, some are generic and some simply over-the-top. As a whole all the stories are interlinked with one another as all were traveling by one bus.

The story of the Indian movie `Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd.` revolves around six honeymoon couples. Their past, their romance and their stories are narrated in the whole movie. Here is a brief look at the movie`s characters.

Oscar Fernandez played by Boman Irani and Nahid played by Shabana Azmi are the senior most of the six couples. They are from Mumbai. On their honeymoon trip, Oscar`s past catches up with him in Goa, creating a flurry of emotions. They are a middle-aged couple who married at an old age. People make fun of them but they are not bothered. Coming from a tough background and facing many hardships, they are leaving their past behind and are searching for a future together. This is their second marriage. Oscar`s first wife committed suicide and Nahid`s husband and 2 children died in a car accident. Oscar is Nahid`s first husband`s business partner. After a chance meeting with Oscar`s estranged daughter in Goa, father and daughter mend their relationship in which Nahid takes a great part.

The second couple is Partho played by Kay Kay Menon and Milli played by Raima Sen are from Kolkata. While Partho is an uptight man with a conservative mindset, Milli is eager to break the mould and live life to the fullest. They are from a small town of Kolkata. After some incident Milli decides to break the rules and she also tries her husband to do so.

Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Indian movie The third one is Aspi played by Abhay Deol and Zara played by Minissha Lamba. They are the most compatible couple of the lot. They never quarrel and seem like made for each other. But there is a secret behind their compatibility. In reality they are the superheroes, which were unknown to them also. That means they did not know that the other one is superhero as it was revealed later.

The fourth story involves Pinky played by Amisha Patel and Vicky played by Karan Khanna. They are from Delhi. Pinky is a talkative Punjabi girl fascinated by Bollywood`s romantic movies. She wants a fairy tale romance. But her husband keeps avoiding her all the time. When Vicky sees Bunty for the first time, he develops closeted romantic feelings for him but isn`t able to express them. He actually becomes confused about his feelings and starts avoiding his wife Pinky.

The fifth couple is Hitesh played by Ranvir Shorey and Shilpa played by Dia Mirza. They are from Surat, Gujrat. Apparently, Shilpa harbours no feelings towards her husband. She seems stuck in a marriage she did not want in the first place. Their story raises a question of what is more important in life between love and marriage. During the first half hour, Shilpa runs away with her love, played by Arjun Rampal. Shilpa and her love board the Honeymoon Travels bus returning to Mumbai, while escaping from contract killers sent by Hitesh`s father.

Bunty (Vikram Chatwal) and Madhu (Sandhya Mridul) came to know each other on Internet and got married in unlikely circumstances. But they harbour personal secrets that they haven`t yet shared with each other. They come from different backgrounds. Bunty has grown up in the West; he is an NRI while Madhu is a traditional girl from Mumbai. Bunty is a closet homosexual and his parents want him to marry the daughter of a family friend but out of anxiety he contacted Madhu over the net and came to India and married quickly. Madhu had a recently failed relationship with a man, whom she left after discovering that he had a wife and child already. She found Bunty and married quickly to forget that pain. At first Madhu did not get the feel that Bunty is a homosexual. But as days passes she sees that he does not touch her or he has no passion. They discuss clearly and the harsh reality of life come forward. However, they decide to be with each other and live their respective lives.

Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Indian movie There is fun, frivolity, commotion, confusion and a tangle before the story draws to its conclusion. The narrative humorously unfolds seven different stories that explore the nature of love and human relationships as well. This story is woven into the hectic four-day honeymoon schedule, which discusses individual characters, revealing secrets about them and their past. From the time the bus leaves Bombay, a man on a bike follows them all the way to Goa. Nobody knows who he is or what his intensions are but once again the climax reveals all.
