Hide and Seek Game, also known as Hide and Go Seek, is a popular children"s game. This game can be played by any number of players. In this game, one player is chosen who would find the rests, who would hide in different places. The seeker should count to 100 closing his eyes while the other players will hide. After the counting gets finished, he should shout saying "ready or not, here I come!" and start finding the hidden players. Hide and Seek Game is an example of an oral tradition as it is commonly passed by children.
Different Versions in Hide and Seek Game
The game has been named differently according to the different versions. In north India, this game is played in a different way. If one of the hiders touches the seeker and says "Dhappa" then the seeker would have to count again. But if the seeker sees the hider before they manage to touch him and say "Dhappa", then that hider would have to be the next seeker.
