Heramba Ganesha is one of the thirty two forms of Lord Ganesha. According to the Brahmavaivarta Purana, the Heramba form depicts Lord Ganesha as the protector of the innocent and the weak. When a devotee worships Heramba Ganesha or Heramba Ganapati, he is blessed with strength and confidence to overcome all kinds of obstacles.
The Lord is portrayed with ten hands and five faces in this form. The hands of Ganesha hold several things like an apple, a goad, a tusk, a rope, an axe, a Rudraksha and a modaka. A divine lion serves as His vahana or mount in this form.
The Heramba Ganapati Mantra is mentioned below-
Abhaya Varadahastah Paashadantakshamala
Srini Parashu Dadhaano Mudgaram Modakam Cha,
Phalamadhi Gatasimhah Panchamaatanga Vakthrah
