Hee Bermiok, SikkimHee Bermiok village is a marvellous tourist spot situated in West Sikkim and surrounded by Rangeet River in the eastern side, Kalez River in the northern side, Hee River in the western side and Samdong Reserve Forest in the southern side. It is famous for being an excellent destination for tree lovers as it houses a gigantic collection of plant life. Besides this, it also boasts of providing a safe refuge to more than 65 species of birds. Bermiok and Hee are the two different villages which are based at a distance of nearly 150 km from Jalpaiguri.

Tourist Attractions at Hee Bermiok
One of the major tourist attractions at Hee Bermiok is the Sirijunga Falls or Sirijunga Vadhan is located slightly away from Berniok Bazar. Tourists can also view the mysterious holy box and also visit the Sirijunga Phuku or Sirijunga Cave. These regions are based near the intersection of Kalej and Reshi Khola. One might also choose to travel along the village trail which connects Phagudara and Martam village. The spectacular lake of Chaaya Taal, which is existent at Hee-Kyangbari and Yuma Samyo Mangheem are great places where one might explore the option of boating. Visitors can get a glimpse of a thrilling water park near Hee Gaon and the largest prayer wheel of the world here.

Enthusiastic tourists can also arrange for short trips to Varsey Rhododendron Sanctuary which is based near Hee Bermiok. Uttarey, Pelling, Rinchengpong and Borong are some of the other popular tourism centres which can be visited. One can enjoy long walks and mountain biking if one visits Hee Bermiok. The annual tourist festival is another interesting tourist attraction which draws a considerable number of tourists every year.

Visiting Information
One can travel for about four and half hours from Gangtok, if one is looking forward to approaching Hee Bermiok. Visitors can also approach Hee Bermiok from Pelling. This place can be visited anytime of the year but is anyone prefers to enjoy the Tourist Festival which is conducted by the Hee Bermiok Tourism Development and Heritage Conservation Society, and then one should visit this region during the month of May.
