Hanuman Gundi Waterfalls is located in the hilly surroundings of the Kudremukh National Park in the Chikkamagaluru district of Karnataka. Hanuman Gundi Waterfalls is one of the prominent tourist attractions in Karnataka. Hanuman Gundi Waterfalls are also called as "Suthanabbe Falls". It is located in the hilly region between Karkala and Lakya dam which is surrounded by Kudremukh National Park. The 100 ft waterfall can be accessed from 400 steps that are climbed down from the main road to reach the site. Mangalore International Airport is the closest from Hanuman Gundi Waterfalls at a distance of 47.8 km. The nearest railway station is at Bantawala, which is 44.2 km away. By road Mangalore to Udupi is 62 km and from Udupi to Hanuman Gundi falls it is 69 km.
