Hallon River is one of the main tributaries of Narmada River.

Kanha National Park is situated in the upper courses of Narmada, almost 18 Km from Mandla features several wild animals including the Tiger. Two tributaries of Narmada - Hallon and Banjar flow across this park. It is one of the best National Parks of Asia and has been described brilliantly by Rudyard Kipling in his famous creation Jungle Book.
