Gurdwara Rewalsar Sahib is located at Rewalsar, Mandi district in the Indian state of Himachal Pradesh about 15-25 kilometres west of Mandi.

History of Gurudwara Rewalsar
In 1930 Raja Joginder Sen of Mandi built the Gurdwara to honour Guru Gobind Singh"s visit. The large Sarovar (Sacred Tank) attached with the Gurdwara is considered to have medicinal and healing properties. Legends say that Guru Gobind Singh stayed at this place where Gurudwara is located at present. The Gurdwara is mainly blessed to the Namdhari Sikhs due to its mention in "Sau Sakhi" (stories about the Guru Gobind Singh) as a celestial shelter for the disadvantaged people. When Guru Gobind Singh was fighting against the Mughal king Aurangzeb, he chose Rewalsar to assemble with the kings of the different hill states in order to collect support for his battle.

Architecture of Gurudwara Rewalsar
Gurudwara Rewalsar has faultless blue colour and gigantic domes. There are 108 stairs built entirely of stone to get to this holy place of worship. Next to the Gurudwara there is a water tank which is regarded as lucky by the believers.

Visiting information of Gurudwara Rewalsar
Rewalsar can easily be reached by public or private transport from Mandi. The town is situated about 25 kilometres from Mandi. Regular bus service is also available from other towns of Himachal Pradesh such as Hamirpur, Kullu, Ner Chowk, Manali, Sundar Nagar and Sarkaghat.
