Gurudwara Mandi of Himachal Pradesh is a famous holy place of pilgrimage for Sikhs and is situated at the town of Mandi, Himachal Pradesh. The Gurudwara is located by the side of a rock, where Guru Gobind Singh had meditated during his visit to Mandi. Gurudwara Mandi conserves several hallowed relics of Guru Gobind Singh including a camp bed and a rifle.

Legends of Gurudwara Mandi
According to the legends, Guru Gobind Singh stayed in Gurudwara Mandi for over 6 months. While Raja Sidh Sen"s family accommodated the Mata ji`s in the palace, Guru Gobind Singh"s tents were set up on the bank of the nearby River Beas. When Guru Gobind Singh was about to leave Mandi, Raja Sidh Sen asked him who would protect Mandi from Aurangzeb`s cruelty after his leaving. Raja Sidh Sen asked his query as the Guru Gobind Singh aimed his Bandukh at a clay water jug floating down the river. Guru`s musket ball pierced the water jug adding up one more holes but even with that extra hole it continued to float down stream.

Guru Gobind Singh used the floating water jug as a figure of speech to implement his answer. Guru said as this pitcher was saved, so Mandi would be saved and if anyone tries to loot it, musket balls will rain from the heaven. There`s also a rock in the River Beas on which Guru Sahib had often sat in meditation, during his stay in Mandi. Some of Guru Gobind Singh"s belongings are still protected here; a Bed, a Rabab (musical instrument), a Bandukh (Musket/Gun), a Gun Kuppy (powder horn) and a Talai (Mattress).

Gurudwara Mandi of Himachal Pradesh is easily reachable by bus from Mandi. Buses ply regularly between Shimla (165 kilometres) and Mandi via Bilaspur and Pathankot (225 kilometres) and Mandi via Kangra.
