Gurmail Singh was a former India Hockey player who represented India at 1980 Moscow Olympics and delivered awesome performance to win the trophy.

Gurmail Singh, an Indian field hockey player, was born on October 10th, 1957. He participated at the 1980 Olympics held at Moscow. At the tournament, India won the Gold Medal. Gurmail Singh is the brother-in-law of Jugraj Singh, an eminent Indian field hockey player. He is an Arjuna Award winner.

He is married to Rajbir Kaur, a former captain of the Indian Women`s Hockey Team. Now he is an officer in the Punjab Police.
