Gulbarga University
Gulbarga University was a post graduation centre of Karnataka University. The Government of Karnataka enacted a law in 1980 and gave it the status of university.

Gulbarga University, KarnatakaGulbarga University is located at Gulbagra in Karnataka. It caters to the educational needs of the five districts - Gulbarga District, Raichur District, Koppal District Bidar District and Bellary District. The main campus is located 10 km away from the Gulburga city centre. It has more than 37 teaching departments and 4 research centres. It also has several affiliated colleges.
