Gracy Singh, Bollywood ActressGracy Singh, the talented actor with rustic looks, was born on 20th July 1980 in New Delhi to a Punjabi family. She did her schooling at the Manav Sthali School. Being a trained Bharatnatyam dancer, Gracy began her career with the dance group The Planets. She debuted with her acting career in the serial Amanat and became an instant hit with the name Dinky. She was offered this role by Sanjiv Bhattacharya who was impressed by one of her dance performances.

Career in Films for Gracy Singh
Later on Singh appeared in movies like Hu Tu Tu alongside Suniel Shetty and Tabu and in Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hai alongside Kajol and Anil Kapoor. She had minor roles to play in the movies. Gracy got her first major break in the Ashutosh Gowarikar directed Lagaan. The movie was nominated for the Oscars and she paired opposite Aamir Khan as a beautiful village girl. Her role of Gauri was well appreciated and she was nominated for her role for best debut actress. She next appeared in Armaan opposite Preity Zinta and Anil Kapoor in Gangajaal with Ajay Devgan. Singh`s next major hit was in the movie Munnabhai M.B.B.S. in 2003. Her role as a doctor and love interest of Sanjay Dutt received much admirations. She appeared in many other movies but they bombed at the box office.

Apart from Bollywood she has also acted in a Kannada movie Meghave Meghave in 2009. She also had a single release in Telugu flick called Santosham with Nagarjuna and Shriya and Loudspeaker, a Malayalam movie in 2009.
