Nestled in the city of Udhagamandalam in Tamil Nadu, the Government Museum, Udhagamandalam was established in the year 1989 in order to store the ancient objects of Indian history.
The objects displayed in the museum include art, archaeology, anthropology, numismatics, philately, botany, zoology and geology.
Interested people who are likely to visit the museum may come between 9:30am to 5pm except on Fridays, second Saturdays and National Holidays.
