Golden Temple of Sripuram is located in the southern portion of Vellore city at Tirumalaikodi is dedicated to Goddess Lakshmi Narayani and is a spectacular architectural wonder.
Golden Temple of Sripuram had been inaugurated during August 2007 and is present in the southern Indian state of Tamil Nadu. Built by Sri Narayani Peedam which is based in Vellore and supervised by Narayani Amma, the temple covers an area measuring about 100 acres. Each and every detail of this temple was minutely designed, manually. Gold chunks were transformed into gold foils and then placed on copper plates. About 0 to 9 layers of gold foil have been embedded onto the copper plates. One would notice that the temple art has been inspired by ideas and concepts from the Vedas.
A unique star-shaped path known as `Sri Chakra` surrounds the Golden Temple at Sripuram, which exists at the centre of a lush green park that measure 1.8 km in length. Visitors must cross the star-shaped path in order to approach the temple in the middle of the landscape and they will discover messages by Sri Sakthi Amma and various other faiths and spiritual teachers. The interior walls of the Golden Temple are adorned with the principles propagated in Guru Granth Sahib, Bhagavad Gita, Bible, Holy Quran and Sri Sakthi Amma. The inner `Praharam` of this temple bears a resemblance to the Indian Parliament.
