It is fed by the Ambika River and is among the most preferred tourists destinations of the state. The place is a heaven for nature lovers. Gira Waterfall rises to a height of about 75 feet, emerging from the Kapri tributary. It falls in the Ambika River. It is a seasonal waterfall and can be relished between the months of June and December.

Ahmedabad is 409 kilometres away from the place while Surat, Mumbai, Vadodara are 164 kilometres, 250 kilometres and 309 kilometres away respectively. Buses and private cars are available for the tourists. Waghai and Billimora serve as the nearest railways stations. Nearest airport is located at Vadodara.
