Gidderbaha, Muktsar, PunjabGidderbaha is a prominent town in Muktsar district of the northern state of India, Punjab. Muktsar, the district headquarters is located in the south of Gidderbaha at a distance of 40 km. and Malot, another town is located in the west at a distance of 15 km. The Gidderbaha Railway Station on the Bhatinda - Abohar rail route is the nearest railway station. The nearest airport is at Amritsar.

Gidderbaha is encircled with numerous places having religious importance, which includes Shri Durga Mata Mandir, Dera Baba Ganga Ramji, Shri Gurdwara Sahib and Gaushala Mandir.

The 2001 India census report states the fact that , Gidderbaha had a population of 36,593 inhabitants. Males and females account for 53% and 47% of the population respectively. Gidderbaha has an average literacy rate of 63%, which is higher than the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 68% and the female literacy rate is 56%. In the town 12% of the population is less than six years of age.
