Freddy Daruwala is an Indian model and actor based in Mumbai. He is originally named as Farhad Daruwala who was born on May 12, 1984 and is better known as Freddy Daruwala in modelling circles. He is highly involved in modelling and has done many modelling assignments. Besides, Freddy Daruwala also debuted in the film "Mummy Punjabi" in the year 2011. He won 1st Runners Up of "Haywards Mr. India World". He did some ad campaigns like "Nivea for Men", "Raymonds" and "Reliance".

Freddy Daruwala was born and brought up in Surat, Gujarat in a Parsi family. His father is Parsi businessman and mother is Gujarati home-maker. Freddy Daruwala completed his elementary education from St. Xavier`s High School, Surat and pursued a career in Master in Business Administration, but he wanted to make big in Modelling Industry. So he left his education and moved his base to Mumbai to make a serious attempt at modeling and destiny took over.
Career of Freddy Daruwala
Freddy Daruwala began his career as a model in Mumbai and then joined Bollywood film Industry. Before entering Bollywood, he did some ad campaigns like "Nivea for Men", "Raymonds" and "Reliance". Freddy Daruwala`s debut movie "Mummy Punjabi" released in 2011 in Punjabi Language. Though the film flopped but his performance was appreciated. Then his next chance was given by director A.R. Murugadoss in a Hindi movie "Holiday" in 2014. His villainous role in the film has earned him good reviews.
Freddy worked in a film called "Sher" which had Sanjay Dutt as the main lead. It was directed by Soham Shah. The film got shelved as the production house ran into trouble and Dutt`s case was sent to prison in 2013 for the Mumbai bombing case.
