Situated on the western edge of Sunderban about 3 km away from Bakkhali, the beach of Frazerganj is a white sandy beach having an enchanting natural beauty. The beach lies on the Ganges deltaic island and is known to be a fishing village possessing an undulating muddy beach. In fact it is also considered as one of the prime centres of fish farming in the country. The place is also famous for a huge variety of exotic and colourful migratory birds including Gulls, Chestnut-winged Cuckoo, Black-capped, Terns, Sea Eagles, Collared Kingfishers and many more.

Frazerganj has some tourist spots like the Henry"s Island, Bakkhali, Jambudeep and the Temple of Banabibi which are popular destinations. The beach of Frazerganj is lined by a dense thicket of casuarina groves and is a famous tourist spot.
