Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actress is one of the four acting awards in Filmfare Awards, along with Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actor, presented to the actress who gives the most appealing and touching performance in a supporting role in a Hindi film of the preceding year. The category was introduced in the following year of the commencement of Filmfare Awards, along with the Best Supporting Actor award in 1955.

The award was presented to Priyanka Chopra, for her outstanding and heart-warming portrayal of Kashibai, first wife of Maratha Peshwa Baji Rao I, in "Bajirao Mastani". The character demanded a mature portrayal which Chopra fulfilled.
