Filmfare Award for Best Supporting Actor is one of the four acting awards in Filmfare Awards, along with Best Actor, Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress, presented to the actor who delivers the most arresting and appealing performance in a supporting role in a Hindi film of the preceding year. The category was introduced in the following year of the commencement of Filmfare Awards, along with the Best Supporting Actress award in 1955.
