Ek Se Badhkar Ek-Jalwe Sitaron ke is a unique reality show launched by Zee TV. The show appears at 8 PM between Saturdays to Sunday. This realty show promises to bring talents from singing and dancing to one platform. A total of 16 stars will participate in this show in a total of 8 jodis. Each pair will comprise of one dancer and one singer. These teams will then appeal to the viewers for votes in order to win the coveted title of `Sabse Badkar Jodi`. The singing participants are mainly the previous year finalists from the reality shows Sa Re Ga Ma Pa, Indian Idol and little champs. They are still in contact with Zee. The singing stars combine with the dancing person from the world of TV. The uniqueness of the show lies in the fact that both singing and dancing stars are present in on platform.
The man who brings them all together to host the show needs no introduction. From acting and producing films to releasing music albums this man has done it all. He is the Badshah of Bhojpuri Films Ravi Kishan. After Big Boss he has done good job in this reality show of Zee. Presently Mandira is doing the job of a host who is known as landmark in the field.To judge the show renowned singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya and famous choreographer turned director Ahmed Khan are there in the panel. Jackie Shroff, Salil Chadda, Vivek Oberoi, Priyanka Chopra, Harman Baweja, Manoj Bajpai, Ganesh Acharya, & Hansika Motwani are the celebrities that have so far made their appearance on the show.
These celebrities also appear to promote their forthcoming movies, and as more movies get released, there will be more film stars who will show up in the form of celebrity judges.

As always, the singing performances of Aneek and Raja Hasan have always impressed. And since no show nowadays can proceed without the usual burst of controversy, the channels always like to show dispute, objections, and even arguments. No longer do the judges object to this sort of drama anymore.
Three new jodis were introduced in the show through a wild card round on July 19, 2008. The three new jodis are Aishwarya Nigam and Aanchal Dwivedi, Mussarat Abbas and Sanober Kabir and Abhishek Awasthi and Meenal Jain. Abhishek returned to the contest with a new partner Meenal Jain on July 19, 2008.
The elimination will be decided based on marks given by judges and audience voting.
