Rajasthan is fast evolving as one of the popular centers for education in India. The Rajasthani government is doing all it can to put Rajasthan in the league of the best-known educational centers in the country. Education has always been a major issue with the state government. The biggest challenge before the state was to make education available to the tribal people. It was necessary for such communities so that can fend for them. Even for selling their art works at proper price literacy and awareness was necessary. Hence for the sake of these people it was essential for the state that it succeeds in increasing the literacy rate.

A rapid increase in the industrial sector has made the government pay special attention to the educational infrastructure. Today there are numerous government and private educational institutes in Rajasthan. These educational centers provide both professional and vocational courses. Such centers concentrate more on the practical aspect of education. Thus these courses help the students in the long run. Innovative ideas ways have been invented for spreading education. The government has decided to provide all the districts of Rajasthan with computer buses that will help in increase computer literacy.

Education for a girl child is also taken care of. Several measures have been taken to create awareness for such programs. Mid day meal till 8th standard in the government schools are also provided so that the children of the poorer section of the society are imparted education. Educational reforms for school dropouts and adult education are also being looked after. Besides the basic level of education several institutes of engineering, law, management, mass communication, hotel management, architecture, computer science, law and others have been established.

Such measures for education system in Rajasthan are attracting students from different parts of India too.
