Dzukou Valley is located in northern India on the borders of Manipurand Nagaland at an altitude of 2452 meters above sea level. This place is popular for the natural environment, seasonal flowers and flora and fauna. The rare Dzukou Lily flower can only be found in this valley. The word Dzukou is originally derived from the Viswema dialect of the Angamis `Dzu-ko`; it means `soulless and dull`. Along with lilies, some other types of flora of this region are aconitum, euphorbia and multi-colored rhododendrons etc.
Visiting Information to Dzukou Valley
The best time to visit this place is from October to May but if someone wants to visit the region during monsoon, then the best time to go there is from June to September. The main entry of the valley is from the foothills of Viswema village; from there one has to walk up to the valley.
