Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University, AhmedabadDr Babasaheb Ambedkar Open University is named after the Indian political leader Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar. It is an institution providing higher education through distance education and other flexible mediums for its student. The University headquarters is located in the city of Ahmedabad. Through its variety of programmes the university offers diploma, graduate, post-graduate and doctoral degree programs. The University has established its regional Centre in the South Gujarat University campus. The various schools in the University are School of Humanities and Social Sciences, School of Commerce and Management, School of Education, Distance Education and Education Technology and the School of Computer Science.
