Dibrugarh Airport is a domestic airport which is located at Mohanbari in the Dibrugarh city of Assam. The airport is known as `Mohanbari Airport`. It is so called because of its location at Mohanbari which is at a distance of about 15kms North-east from Dibrugarh. The airport is operated by Airports Authority of India. Dibrugarh is one of the main cities in Assam and is well routed via airlines to all major cities in the country. So, traveling to the city of Dibrugarh by air is easy and affordable.
Located at a height of 362 ft above sea level, the airport features 1,829 m long runway. The airport is well linked through flights both directly or indirectly to all the prime cities in India. The new integrated terminal building at Dibrugarh Airport was opened in 2009. The terminal covers an area of 10,536 square meters and has 500 seating capacity including arrival and departure sections. The building is equipped with 10 check-in counters, 2 security counters and 2 aerobridges.
