Dibai is a township in the Bulandshahr district of the northern state of India, Uttar Pradesh. It is located on state highway and the nearby towns are Ahmadgarh, Anupshahr, Rajpura , Pahasu and Narora which is situated about 15 km. from Dibai.
The town is well connected to other areas with the help of the train service from Dibai Railway Station and flights from Indira Gandhi International Airport. It is located between 28.22° North latitude and 78.25° East longitude and at a height of 184 metres (603 feet) above mean sea level.
Rajghat, a sacred place is located in the vicinity. The town is the birth place of the legendary Urdu writer Intizar Hussain.
According to the 2001 census report, Dibai had a population of 34, 853 inhabitants. Males constitute 53% of the population and females 47% of the population. In Dibai, 16% of the poipulation is less than six years of age. Dibai has an average literacy rate of 50%, which is low in comparison to the national average literacy rate of 59.5%. The male literacy rate is 58% and the female literacy rate is 41%.
