The "devaloka" is a level surface of existence where Gods and "Devatas" live. Deva Loka is generally described as places of endless light and righteousness which is parallel to the conception of Heaven.

Myths of Deva Loka
As per Hindu mythology, there are seven higher worlds and seven lower ones. The higher worlds are the Seven Spheres "vyahrtis" or "lokas", namely "bhuvar", "deva", "mahar", "jana", "Indra", "rudra" and "marut" and the lower ones (the "seven underworlds" or paatala lokas) are "atala", "vitala", "sutala", "rasaataala", "talatala", "mahaatala", "paatala".

As per Hinduism, Deva Loka is a place of existence where Gods and "Devatas" reside. According to the Hindus, Deva Loka is a place of blissful existence that can be reached as soon as one is sufficiently attuned to light and good. In Buddhism, a Deva Loka is a place of Buddhist "Devatas". The worlds of the "Devatas" vary to a great extent from each other depending on the nature of their residents.
